Ecologist. Fine Artist. Illustrator
Kia Ora!
My name is Tate Agnew, I am a Maori-American illustrator and fine artist currently studying ecology, history, and zoology at the University of Otago. I split my time between Los Angeles (where I was born and raised) Auckland (where my family is based), and Dunedin, New Zealand (where I am studying).
My work is largely driven by my love for the intersectionality between science, nature, and art. I work across a range of mediums, from watercolour and oil to gouache and pencil.
I am currently accepting work so feel free to reach out!
